Hey Rob
I think I mentioned that stuff a couple months ago when you were fingering yourself in your door pic.

There's more good news about that stuff.
I did my Black 99 twice
The Manx
The Karmann Ghia
The cab of my work truck
my girl friends Honda civic
My new 04 L

I still have about 1/3 of the bottle left.....
It is everything you say and it beads water like crazy. I had the only black truck in the nieborhood that came out cleaner after a rain.

I think the trick is to use a fairly good bath towel to remove the wax and get a nice shine.

I did notice that it collects dust worse than some other products. It's like a electro magnet. It cleans up easy though.

I had some long scratches in my door wear the neighbors dog jumped up to say hello and it did a great job of covering it. Although I know wear to look and still think I should turn that mutt into a chamois or maybe a wax remover.

I ain't letting that mutt near my new L

Have you used a clay bar yet?
As well as you stay on top of your finish I doubt you need to.

I had some tree sap and other stuff build up on my Blackie and it is just as impressive as the NTX

I like the way you post. I feel like I am next door neighbors with lots of you guys.

Whenever I read Robs post I add a NY accent like that cop show L A Law or somethin. Sorry, don't watch much TV. I turn it on a lot but it is just background noise.

Went to my grand daughters Dance recitle last night, boy was that funny. They got more energy than I can imagine. On the way home I got a few nodds and stares even though it was 10PM. I blasted up the interstate and took my 4 leaf clover exit faster than I ever have. Last time I looked down it said 50MPH and I was pouring the coal to her with the OD off. Never even sqealed the tires much. DAM I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!!! Can hardly keep from smiling every time I get in it.

Rob,

Correct me if I am wrong but I think the "NXT booster wax" is actually a wax. So you do have to let it dry on the car and then remove.

The quik detailer is just that. It is to spray on and wipe off without letting it dry to remove light dust buildup.

Just wanted to point that out because I thought the Booster wax was like the quik detailer but it left streaks behind because I didn't let it dry.

The NXT is a very good wax but it doesn't hold up well over time. I usually put a coat on once a month. If weather has been bad I do it twice a month.

Just my 2 cents.

Later,

Mook

Try the NXT Synthetic car wash also..it seems to help keep the wax on better. And yes the booster wax is a little different from quick detailer but you just spray it on and start wiping it off and make sure you flip your diaper, rag, towel or whatever you use to take it off every so often.

Its great wax have been using it for a while. But I found it easier and faster to just reapply the NXT than the booster wax. There's nothing like a mirror finish>> Arrest Me Red L Artie!
