Will this hurt my catback?

if I were to cut 2 inches of the inside pipeing of my magnaflow off, would it affect anything? I don't like the pipe in a pipe look.

Thanks.

Since you are very close to the exit point of the exhaust, it should not have any noticable effect. If it did anything, it might improve the flow. The pipe in a pipe thing is cosmetic. If I've been following the various exhaust posts, nobody's come up with a muffler and exit pipe package that makes much of a change in power. Low restriction cats do make more power, but the factory muffler appears to be hard to beat.

I thought the pipe in a pipe cat-back was Borla, Not Magnaflow.

I thought the Bassani gave you some increases? Doesn't the Magnaflow also?
