X-Plan Pin
I was able to get a bunch when I was looking for one for a friend a while back....
the catch is you either have to work for some University in IL or a parts manufacture in New Mexico... lol I dunno how the hell you'd actually use it without showing proof of affiliation.

You can still join EAA (http://www.eaa.org) to get one... Although now you need to be a member for at least a year, before you can generate a pin. I keep my membership active since I will probably buy another ford at some point, and it's only $40/year.

My dealer is pretty cool so unless his computer tells him that he has to submit something before they will sell I don't think he will have a problem with it. Anyone else have any experience in this area?
CT- thanks for the link. I was planning on buying some stock in Ford to get the pin for the '06 lightning but maybe I should join this instead. Are you allowed to give a PIN to a friend from here? I have a friend who is Super big into flying (building his own 737 lifesize ****pit at home to use with flight sim) so he may already be a member. I will have to ask.
If you could help me out, I would appreciate it greatly.
Yes, you can recieve a X-plan from a friend.
We call it our friends and neighbors program. It means just that you can give it to who ever.
A-plan is for Ford employees and their family, mother father, sister brother.

So can someone give me an X-plan? I have a new 350 coming in Sept. at dealer invoice. Truck should list in the lower 40's how much more could I save? I do know the dealer does not have to honor it. Please don't send them to me at the same time as it might **** off my mail man. Thanks

The Xplan Pin is (well was when I used it 2 years ago to buy my wife's truck) a 4 digit number that you gave the dealer. I got mine via email from Ford and I assume that it is still the same method.
Jerzey - I sent you an email at the address listed on your website. If no one has another PIN then I might as well give yours a shot and see what happens.

If you do have a PIN that you are not going to use please let me know.

Thanks for the heads up Joe. Looks like I am getting the '04 cobra just waiting on a pin. The one that they have is torch red with the chrome wheels on it. Don't know if I like them or not.
I wanted to do the PowerLease to get a lightning next year but that expired 2 weeks ago and it does not look like anyone in Ford is willing to push one through for me.
The Xplan price they quoted me was 33,577 which is close to what all my info told me it would be. There is a 1k rebate (manf-dealer) that I told them I want if they want to sell the car plus I should get the 0.9% financing too.
I am really stoked about getting my first SVT product..a bit sad that it is not an L, but my '01 XLT has NEVER given me 1 problem and it is 4x4 for the winters here in PA.
I'll still be lurking in here reading up on all the good news...so now maybe I'll see you guys at the track with something that will give you a run for your money
