Lightning or Mach 1
Lightning or Mach 1
I have a 2001 Lightning and I am thinking of selling it and buying a 2003 or 2004 Mach 1. What is your advice on this, its a tough descision for me because I like them both. Should I keep the Lightning or get the Mach 1?
I had a hard time picking between an 03 cobra and an 03 lightning--obviously I chose a lightning since I used to own a smaller vehicle (ls1 camaro) and didn't enjoy scraping, not towing, etc etc....
don't get me wrong, I *love* the mach 1's, but I would never buy one over a lightning, much less SELL the L and get one
but that's just me and I have my own personal reasons... I'd say if you want a new vehicle, and you like the mustang, then go for it.

P.S. obviously you're getting a biased opinion over here on f150online.com.... if you go to a mach 1 site you might get a different reaction.

My choice was '03 cobra, or '03 lightning. Chose the lightning SOLELY because of insurance costs. The insurance for the cobra was approximately 2.2x more than what I pay for the lightning now. I am 21, in a few years, when u turn 25, and my insurance (hopefully) goes down, I will get something lower and faster, i swear it!

This is like calling up Anheiser-Busch and asking where to buy Miller Lite! WTF?
Two completely different vehicles. Apples and Kiwi.
Try to carry home the new lawnmower, 12 2x4s, and 11 bags of mulch for the new garden, in that Mach 1. That will give you answer.
You can tow the Mach 1 to the track, unload it, race and beat it, then tow it back home! Try the reverse.

Get something FASTER................Hummmmm what are you trying to say
I was looking at the same thing, L or Mach. My wife said the Mach was a step down from a L. Talked me out of the trade. Dont get me wrong the Mach is nice. But it aint no L. Sounds like you just want to drive something different. Just buy a cheap GT
