just back from my dyno runs

Well fellas I just got back from Costal Dyno here in Tampa and this is what I left with. Take into consideration this pull was on a Mustang Dyno not dynojet.

Max Power: 387.3 @4500
Max torque: 511.9 @3150

A/F range around 11.9-12.0

My mods on 2000L:
6lb lower
JL valve body
MAC 95mm MAFw/ cai
c&l tube
ngk tr6

I know there is a small curve between mustang dynos and dynojet. So I'm sure dynojet numbers would be a bit higher but I'm pleased with what I came out of there with. Tell me what you think.

Thanks Rob. I think got some good numbers for the mods I have. As you know though number are only good on paper. Only thing that talks around here are time slips. Taking her tonight to the track and see if bites as hard as she barks.

My auyotmeter guage says around 14 to 15 lbs of boost. I think it is a tad higher than that. Need to check my connections and make sure there tight and no leaks.

Well the numbers weren't as good as I hoped for. I hoped to get in the 12's but I ran a 13.5 which was my quickest run for the night. I was having traction problems. My 60 fts were around 2.0, 2.1. Also I was running on f1's. I think if I get some better tires and some traction bars I should see some 12's.

Those are very good torque numbers. It's no wonder your not hooking.

If you wanna run F1s at the track? Pull the front sway bar, lower the rear tire pressure to about 26-28psi, and launch from off idle rolling into WOT over about a full second timeframe. You'll see a high 12 that way as long as the track is half way decent.

BTW: What was your speed in the 1/4? This will tell us more about your potential.

Rich

My trap speed was around 102, 103. I did remove the spare and lower tire pressure to 25lbs but that resulted in me losing more traction and I ran a 14 flat with a 2.3 60ft. What sad is my buddy has a 99L w/ 22's and a 4lb lower and he was running 13.3's all night. I just figured with all my mods I'd be running faster than I was. I guess its back to the drawing board. I get those 12's sooner or later
