Service Engine Soon Light

Well the trucks Service Engine Soon light came on. Took it into Ford and guess what? It was the Oil Seperator I bought from REM. Seems it clogged up and caused the computer to see a problem. Ford put the stock back on and everything is good to go. I noticed that it wasn't filling up like it used to. I sent an e-mail to REM to see if I can get a replacement bottle. Just wanted to see if anyone else had this problem?

Yes, I just had that problem. There was a post about this problem earlier and someone suggested drilling a hole in the filter, which I attempted with no luck drilling through. That filter is some kind of tough porus metal, so what I ended up doing was just to take an hack-saw and cut the bottom of that darn filter, and ........Yahooo..problem solved. Now there is oil gathering again and won't have a problem with clogged oil seperator again Yiiipeee

Hope this helps
