Cam bolt part # please

Yes I did the search and got 3 pages of assorted junk with no numbers.

If someone wouldn't mind posting the Ford or NAPA numbers for the front end cam bolts and washer kit I would be thankful.

Thanks in advance

FYI,

Here's what I found:

Camber Bolts

F65Z-3B236-BB (Ford)
264-2953 (NAPA)

Will need two

From what I've seen, the camber bolts are needed when an alignment is done. Do you need new bolts everytime you do an alignment?

No, just install them once.

From: Colorado,
Thanks for the numbers! I just got home from work.

I stopped at NAPA and they did not stock but were $49.

Last time I got them from Ford Dealer for about $60.

If you have them installed at the aligment shop it is $100

The reason you need the cam kit to align the front end is that the factory uses shims and there specs are pretty sloppy and IMHO they are for standard size F150's not a manly wide tire like the lightning.

No one stocks the shims and it would take up to much inventory space. If you use the accentric cam bolt you have infinit adjustment. It is a one shot purchase because to adjust you just need to rotate the cam bolt.

They go in the upper A arms on both sides.
The clunk washer goes in the lower rear drivers side only.

Ounce I get them and put them in I will see about borrowing a camera and write up a EZGZ shade tree front end alignment.

F65Z-3B236-BB (bolt)
F65Z-3C178-AA (cam)
264-2953 (NAPA)

You will need four (4) of each for the Fords, or two of the NAPA kits (two in each kit)

The Ford bolts and cams are about $5 each, so you are looking at about $40.

IMHO, the Ford quality far outshines the NAPA ... They
are just "beefier" if you know what I mean ...

Be sure to put the small washers on the inner side of
big washers during install.
