depends

depends on who your talk too. Most tuners like to keep street programs at 12.0 or under @ WOT.

"Safe programs" are targeted to be closer to 11.0.

I think the fuel table are based off a few paremeters........like air flow and load. Looking at an a/f graph you will see it way lean at idle and tip in untill you hit the pull starting around 2500rpm and up.

It's wierd cause back in 99, 00, the a/f stock were WAY rich. I've seen stock 03's pulling close to 13's on the a/f graphs

That's where the most of the 20 hp difference comes from.

When i got my blower ported I jumped from around 11 to just over 12.2 at peak. I got reburned for a little more fuel. The best way is to have a custom tune done. Jim custom tuned my truck and with the blower port , my a/f was right at 12 right across......almost perfect, so I was lucky enough to be able to just have a little more fuel added. If you graph is all over the place.....like mine was originally (dropping off the chart in the mid range), then it can be very time consuming to get it straightened out without making repeated adjustment.

yeah

you will run a little leaner with the 90mm maf on a 99. Remember, reving it in park there is no load on the engine and it's completely different then driving down the road. Plus if you aren't at wot while reving it, 12 could be normal. Wait till you get the chip. What do you have for an a/f meter??

You should be around 11.5-12.5 when on the throttle pretty hard. When your just cruisin on the Hightway you will be around 14.5

Mines a bit weird but I want to make some passes before even considering changing it.

Because we used the tail pipes the A/F registers a little slower,
you can see where it dips off, that is really happening a little sooner "as seen where the power drops off"

As you'll see it starts off lean (which is normal) and stays strong right up to @ 3900 RPM "on the chart", (again thats actually happening before you see it) then it runs below 12.0 a while,
and then nose dives to 10 OR UNDER for the Very Hi RPM ranges. We didn't plan it this way, but this is how it ended up.

This tune had been very good to me, I think it also adds a little safety at the most dangerous part of the run, (end of track, over 110 MPH, and over 5000 RPM. Another words at the most stressful point of the run I'm running NICE AND PIG RICH
