broke a part need help fixing!!!

While I was changing my plugs I seemed to have broken one of the vacuum fittings off the boost valve( or whatever it is not sure). It mounts on the driver side of the supercharger near the firewall and has a rod on the bottom of it. The vacuum line that is broke off is the one that connects to the intake boot.

You guys have any ideas of how to rig something up to work? It is making my truck is run like crap. Ford wants $200 for a new one and they have to order it. I have to take a trip this weekend so I have to get it fixed. Thanks guys.

Well, other than finding someone who has pulled there blower for a KB, you could try pulling it off and drilling it out where the vacuum nipple came out. You can then put some threads in it and/or epoxy a standard vacuum nipple in it. Plastic or brass. You just need to make sure it's siliconed, epoxied, or glued in tight w/ no leaks.

Well I went looking around at Lowes today and mixed and matched some fittings. Then I sealed them together, drilled the hole on the valve up to size, tapped it and installed the fitting. It seems to work pretty good. I thought that was the problem with the truck running rough but it seems its not. I think one of my plugs have fouled out. I guess its time for me to start unpluging coil packs to see which one it is. Thanks for all the input guys.

Are you sure all of the coil packs are plugged in?? Not trying to be a smart axx, just helpful. I just changed my plugs this weekend and it was real easy to over look, I would assume this would throw a code too?? I'm sure there are a couple of ford tech's that would know for sure.
Sincerely,
Bryan
