....with the stock airfilter in the stock box? Mine doesn't sit flush like the filters on every other stock vehicle i've ever looked at. Took it down to the dealer, got a new filter, still couldn't make it sit in there right. Would this hurt performance at all? My cold air kit will be here tuesday so it doesn't matter that much, but I was just curious if anyone else ran into this as well?

From: Colorado,
The stock one on my 99 gave me fits to!!

You would definitly break sweat. But when you got it right everthing snapped together just right.

Were you running the stocker when you said you were disappointed in not get in the 12 second club?

You done real good if you did 13.2 with stock filter. Or am I thinking someone esle?

From: Colorado,
Me ether but I think the day will come.

Sure am glad I got the Charcoal Gray color this time.

Waxed it all up and detailed her today. She does do good shine.

That metal flake is illusive though. Now you see it now you don't.

When the light is right it is like real gold fairy dust.

I likey.

Can't wait to get the cold air and have some extra whine !!!!!!!!

Let us know how it goes with the cold air install and how you like or hate the sound
