JDM Silver Bullet cat-back

Does anyone have the JDM silver bullet cat-back? If so how does it sound, perform and fit? As of now I have just a Dynomax muffler, will it be any louder or sound more aggressive than my current set up?

Does it make the truck kind of vibrate from the "drone" of it?

No vibration; but, it is a little loud on long trips. It doesn't bother me; but, a couple of people have complained of headaches, after a long trip in the passenger seat. It's something to keep in mind.

FunFord,

There is no Exhaust Drone from this catback. If you run full exhuast ( Long tubes and hi flow cats/midpipes ) it can get loud. Some people however really like their exhaust loud like Vinnie so he runs that setup. I must say its the only choice for catback.

I loved the silverbullet cat back system as soon as it was on, and wished Ford had put it on from factory, sound and looks are awsome.
this year, I've added the long tubes ,hiflo cats w/mine and most of my passengers like the window down a little cause they say its addicting

Everybody has a different idea of what a drone or noise level is ok. some people have done soundclips in the past for those who couldn't hear one in person.

bullet

I love mine. It's definetely got some sound to it. Sounds like it should have come from the factory. I don't like the bassani, just my opinion. I think the bullet sounds more like the truck should.

Funford,
If you are concerned about a "drone" in your exhaust, then I wouldn't recommend the silver bullet. It was a good exhaust, fit up great, but at highway speed (60-90mph) it had the most annoying drone. It was fine for short trips, running around town, but for long trips it was a PITA. It was so annoying that my fiance' pretty much hated to take a long trip in the Lightning. I had the silver bullet on my 99L, stock manifolds and cats. When I traded it in on the 03L that I have now the silver bullet was not one of my choices, I spent the extra money for the Bassani and couldn't be happier. The Bassani has NO drone whatsoever and in my honest opinion just has a much better exhaust tone to it. I don't understand how the others can say there exhaust has no drone when mine was annoying as crap at highway speed.

I have LFP long tubes and high flow cat pipes now, with a custom dual magnaflow muffler cat back. I'm trying to decide if I should go with the Bassani or the silver bullet. I like it loud, so Im leaning towards the silver bullet, but I'm not sure If I could deal with a drone. Does it drone with the windows up and down?
