I have a crack in my windshield that started out as maybe an inch long, now it's halfway across the windshield. I'm just waiting for it to make it's way all the way across.

Make sure whan you get it replaced, they use the factory glass and not some cheap glass like safelite.

just in the mean time, you can prevent it from gettin worse by cracking your windows when using the stereo, and avoid using the defroster and suck in the mornings. Also don't wash it in sunlight etc.

Call your insurance company, in some places its required they replace it with no deductable charge i believe.

From: Colorado,
Man that totaly sucks!
Couldn't be in a more distracting place.

I have a real problem with this.

Windows should not be consumables like tires etc.

Of course it is a big surface facing the front of our bricks but come on this is ridiculus.

Let's see some of that space shuttle, cold war technology come into play here.

Lexan or something. I bet everyones insurance rates would drop from reduced windshield claims.

Ok, OK I know the space shuttle doesn't have a windshield per say.
And if it were a war thing it would be bullet proof and to expensive.
But you know what I am saying.
