Traction problems

Well ever since I added the 3" upper to my KB I have had problems with traction. I have the 30" Hoosiers but thinking about going to the radials. Last night is not a good indication because no one was doing well in the traction department. My 60fts were 1.7Xs. Two passes were on a 100 shot and it went 11.1 @ 127mph and 11.2 @ 127mph. If I can just get this thing out of the hole like I used to (1.5s or better). Anyone have any suggestions?

Add more nitrous to make up for it.

Haha Yes the tires are spinning, last night was very bad. I was easy on the gas and the tires were spinning at 1/2 throttle.

Are you spraying out of the hole?

The only luck Ive had with hooking up as been to launch the truck off-spray and start spraying at like 60' or 100' mark... Even on a well prepped track...

That has netted me my best 60' times (Low 1.5x's with a best of 1.51)

No not going to Joliet but I will be at Atco.

Even runnig my ritrous file without nitrous I blow the tires off. I was very easy out of the hole and still spin the tires. I am past the 60ft before I spray it.

My rear shocks are QA1s and are about 10K miles old.

Tom, what are the settings on your QA1s? I run mine on 6.

Before you rebuild everthing keep in mind your comment track was not hooking well for everybody.

I ran into the same problem at our local track. During Fun Ford here in Houston I had 1.5X sixty foot times but 2 weeks later I had 2 1.8Xs sixty foot times and 1 1.9X. I was not happy, however I was not alone others on the track were having the same problem(s).

Your Linelock is kick a$$
