Sorry I missed you 54...

We like to visit the USA a couple times a year
People in Georgia are really nice. They have an appreciation of trucks that I'm not used to. Can't count the times I got "nice truck" shouted at me.

I went to Jekyll Island one time when I was a kid with my family for vacation. It was a nice place, but a Hurricane passed while we were there and the next morning, the whole beach was completely covered as far as you could see with dead jellyfish. They had big dozers in there clearing them off of the beach!

Great minds think alike or something
On the way to Jekyll we stopped in Daytona Beach to check out a nice Gen 1 that was for sale. It was in pretty good shape and the price was fair. Unfortunately it needed a little to much body work.

Rob,

It's a little island off the coast of Georgia. You should load your Lightning up with your son and GF and head down there sometime.
Lots of really cool spots to take pictures of your truck.
I took 52 pictures while there. 48 of them had the Lightning in them

These little critters were everywhere...

Not a Horror Book

Anyone ever read "The Creature from Jekyll Island"??

If you like history and want to know how our (Fiat) money system works and how it came to be grab a copy. It reads like a detective novel and you find things out like the federal reserve is not federal and it is not a reserve.

OK OK OK not more gov talk that can turn some people off....let me make it appeal to you this way....

After reading that book you should understand how you could walk into any dealership and buy a 35k lightning for under 6k with no problems assuming the dealer was smart. (I know that can be a stretch too)

Yep. Great book about how our own government places the value of our dollar into the hands of foreign bankers with the Fed. A must read for anyone who thinks they know how our economy is controlled.

Been to Jekyll and Tybee Island several times. A nice little secret place to escape to. Why did you have to let the cat out of the bag litnfast?

Frank S...

When I was a little guy I lived in Savanna. We used to go out to Tybee Island and tie chicken necks on the end of a string and drop them over the Fort Pulaski Bridge. We would come home with buckets full of blue crabs.

A few years have passed since then

Jekyll is nice and I love Savannah. St. Simons sucks! I did get in a bar fight there with a local yokal, though!
