They are just being released for the mustangs. Has anybody heard if KB is going to make a 2.2 for the L. I did some searching but couldn't find anything.

Mike, the Mustang 2.2 KB is a universal 2.2 Autorotor case with an adapter plate and intake for the desired application, and also the blower JL was using at first before KB came out with the production Lightning unit. The current KB is already a 2.2 liter blower, just in a Lightning specific case. Hope this helps.

yes sal's right the one for the lightning is a 2.2L. however i was hoping for them to release the new 2.4L for the lightning like the one they released for the 03 cobra. that would be interesting.

 

Would the 2.4 fit? I know the one for the 03/04 Cobra is longer than the 2.2 unit. I wouldn't think a longer s/c would fit on our trucks.
