PSP vs JDM vs K&N

OK I am gonna buy a filter kit for my 01 L, but I'm not sure which one to go with. I am just looking for suggestions and comparisons. And lastly can I add just the filter kit with out making and other mods.

I think you need an adapter wich PSP and JDM and most others sell with the kit.....I'm a pretty solid JDM fan (been with him since day one) but you should check out the Jonny Lightning air box too...its a pretty sweet looking set up.

I think if you look at just the cone filter from JDM, JLP, and PSP, you might as well roll the dice. I don't see how one could out perform the other. If you want it somewhat enclosed with some cool air tubing, the choice narrows to PSP and JLP. In my opinion the JLP box with top screen looks better hands down. I wasn't overly impressed with the quality of the piece though. The PSP setup looks more durable.

The PSP attaches to the engine with a BEEFY
support, unlike some others that "flop" around
alot. I traded up to the PSP ... never looked back...

I have the JLP box and am building my own tubing set-up. If you are just looking for an open air kit, then go to REM. Same exact kit as JDM and half the price.

My friend has the PSP and he likes it a lot, no problems and very durable. Also, doesn't K&N make a FIPK intake for the L? My other friend has one on his chevy 4.8 V8 and it's badass, i am thinkin they make it for the L also.
