How to take superglue off the lightning

I no some of you are asking how the hell i got superglue on the lightning and all i can say is that it was a circus act trying to catch the little container it was in before it fell. Well now i have a nice a pretty thick streak of super glue on my truck. I tried bug and tar removeal and even some goo gon but it only helps a little. So i was wondering if anyone here new of a solution that will take that off the paint.

You could try some WD-40 it works excellent at taking road tar off with ease. What ever you do use to get it off will strip the wax, including WD-40 so once you get it off you will need to re-wax the area…

Acetone will do it BUT - Can and WILL soften the paint if you are not careful

Test it on an invisible spot .....

Go to a Hobby Shop and buy CA debonder.

It will turn the glue into a soft goo that you can wipe off.

I have a co-worker that utilized this stuff and it apparently worked pretty well. Be 110% sure that, once you remove it, you come back over it with your choice of wax as any product (including the ones that you've already tried) will remove the protective coating (wax) that you already had on your paint.
