I'm in Nebraska and it ain't all that great! Just messin...
Sometimes a good-ole-fashioned *** whooping is just what the doctor ordered. A 4-D-cell Maglite can put a hurting on someone pretty good and you don't have to worry about going off in your face when you're cleaning it!

i don't like a lot of the gun laws in california but I do like the idea of gun control. Its kinda a hard line to judge for me.

But I didn't know that if you shot someone invading your home you would be charged with murder, is that really true or just part of the satire?

BTW, although there is a smoke ban IN bars, i've never seen a bar with problems for people smoking outside and I even know a couple bars where they let you smoke (discreetly mind you) inside. Just kinda depends.

And Jace18 thats exactly the reason that rule is there.

I also believe the shoot and not kill resulting in getting sued is a national thing, not just California.

which is a shame cause all those 8 and 10 year olds that have been gunned down in neighborhoods i grew up in (from legally purchased weapons i'm sure)never had a chance to carry their own weapons. For shame. What works one place doenst necessarily work everywhere.

Like i said i'm on the fence but we've all heard the cliched voices for pro gun, quit being sheep.

Gun control would be ok if it was something legitimate. For example insuring people can’t go out and buy like 50 caliper guns, I mean who in the hell really needs something that big?

Personally if every one was packing it would be a good way of weeding out the bad elements of society, kind of like cleaning out the gene pool like what happens in nature, animals do it and none of them have been arrested, well none that I know of. You might think that is funny but some nut cases actually believe animals have some kind of rights, so if they have rights and we have rights what court decides cases involving unruly animals? If I can get arrested for shooting a neighbors cat then how come I can’t sue the cat or the neighbor when the little POS scratches my car? I could get arrested for violating the little cat basturd rights and maybe even a gun law since it was not in self defense, but remember that little flicker has them claws that hurt like a ****…

Goofy huh? Well that’s California for you. Mind you many people in California are good people, but there are a chit lot of nut cases out there. Christ I moved from California to New Hampshire and I still don’t think I am far enough away…

Gun control is useless and means nothing it ONLY makes weak people feel good about themselves and that is it.

Just like a restraining order means NOTHING to the person that might kill the other, it is only something that makes people feel good and covers everybody’s *** so when the true moron goes and actually kills his wife with a gun all those involved can say:

”There was a restraining order issued and he violated our gun laws”

See what I mean, gun laws are for the weak minded that are to LAZY to do what is right…

I would say if someone beat you that badly, fear for your life is justified and you can go ahead and shoot him.

However not all cases are as clear-cut as this one would be if he shot his attacker in self defense.

I live in Texas and i'm sorry, if someone does something to me, I'd have no problem pulling the trigger. If I had to go to jail for defending myself then I guess that's what i'd have to do, keep your hands off my L
Over a vehicle? You would kill someone?

Wow......I could see if this individual did something terrible to someone in your family or was threatening your life, a human but a vehicle, a material possession? Come on. We all pay insurance for a reason. Cars come and go through the times. I sure don't want to spend any time behind bars because I shot someone to death because the schlep was trying to steal my truck. My life is worth a bit more than that to me.

The way I look at it, he took that chance by acting on you in the first place. If you don't want to be shot then don't punch someone in the face or try to take someones stuff. If you try to take my stuff I'll shoot you and have not problem doing it either.

Here is the thing, follow the law and you don’t take the chance of getting shot and possibly dieing. There is a problem in this country where the criminal has most the laws in their favor, perhaps if there were no laws to protect the scum bags in the action of committing a crime they would think twice about doing something.

Trust me if it were legal throughout our country to shoot someone attempting to steal a vehicle then vehicle thefts would take a dramatic nose dive, that I can guarantee you…

Is it right to kill someone attempting to steal a vehicle? Most likely not but the point should not be about shooting a scumbag car theft but rather how badly one can beat them for touching another’s property. It all goes back to “Follow the law and live”…
