Body Gaps.....uneven!!!!!

Like I've previously posted, I just got a cowl hood and when I went to prefit it, I noticed how far off the body gaps on the front and are. The hood didn't line up with the fenders so when I went to adjust the hood correctly to line up with the fenders, the grill/hood gap was way off. The passenger side of the hood was nearly touching the grill while the driver side had at least a half inch clearance. So today, I went and removed the grill so I could adjust the headlight panel that the grill sits on. (Don't attempt to do this.....what a mistake. I should have just delt with the misalignment) So now that the hood to grill gap isn't as off as it was, the grill sticks out slightly by the driver side turn signal. Has anyone ever messed with adjusting the headlight panel or have any of you had the problem I am having......by this I mean gaps that are off. I will admit that I'm a little **** about stuff like this but my brother's L lines up perfectly everywhere. I think mine may have been a Friday afternoon slap together special.

PS: It is not the hood. I had this same problem with it but when I put the white cowl hood on the black truck, it stuck out.

80% of all Ls I've seen suffer from the "gap" that is between the hood and the grill..STOCK! Including mine and a few other local members arround my way!
I have about 1/3" @ the pasenger side and it grow to a little over 1/2" @ driver side. It sucks but that's an L for fitment for you? DARN FORD

Thanks guys. Your reassurance is greatly appreciated...lol. I always end up with vehicles like this.....you know the ones that are completely different than all of the rest. Well it sure is nice to know that you guys have that perfect gap. I'm guessing the bed lines up 100% with the cab too huh?
