Question Have a short, need help?

Recently, i was hanging out with some friends listening to some music on the L and drinking some beer. I had the ignition key all the way to the back where the truck was off but the radio was on. While sitting there, the truck alarm kept locking itself every few minutes and the head lights would blink. This also happend again while driving down the road, which was weird to say the least.

Today, i get out and as i go to lock the door with the remote alarm, the horn does not work. I turned it on and honked on the steering wheel and nothing.

WTF? I did a search and found something similar where someones doors were rubbing on a wire?

Could this be the cause and if so, is it a warranty issue?

Thanks for any advise.
