Too loud.... baffels for Bassani?

Hi guys, since we are driving ca 7000 miles on my fully JLP tuned L every year, the full exhaust from Bassani is just a bit loud for me on the highway. Johnny mentioned that Bassani have some baffels to be put on the tip of the exhaust pipe in order to quiet it down a bit.

Do any of you have experience with baffels from Bassani, or other baffels?

The baffles are available directly from Bassani for $50/pair. They do make quite a difference. My buddy has an '03 Cobra that's pretty freakin' loud with just a Bassani catback. His exhaust is much quieter when he has the baffles installed. The baffles seem to cut sound in the low, but not bottom, of the exhaust note. In other words, you "feel" the exhaust more than hear it.

You only need one pair. A bolts go through the holes at the bottom of each tailpipe to hold the baffles in place.

I always wondered why they had holes there.

Great !
Have you got a pictue of them that I can view from the net.

Are the restrictive to the point of loosing power? Sounds dumb to buy something for better sound and then trying to get it quiet again but we are crazy anyway.

Thanks again
Greg

Yes you will lose hp, about 3-5. They appear the same, but are alot shorter in length.
