From: Colorado,
Night time Thunder & Lightning

Well guys I finaly broke down and pulled out my plastic.

Ordered a Bassani cat back from the chickenman.

Tim sounds like a great guy and gave me a few hints about getting the old one off.
The old strap around the axle and torch heating trick worked great.
All came off in one nice peace.

Now I just have to wait for the Brown truck.

I started it in the garage expecting the windows to rattle right out of the house and it just purred like a kitten????????

Was thinking of going out and raising a litte hell with just the Cats on.

Will that hurt anything or throw a code???
I can see that passenger O2 senser just a few inches up the pipe.

So whats the verdict? Wait for the Cat back mufflers or play cat and mouse with the local Bull's?
Thanks
Greg

Greg,

Your e-mail was funny as schitt Bro,
Glad to hear it all came off undamaged, nice job (thumbsup)
(if I tried the old torch trick, I'd prob end up starting a fire) hehehehe

Amazing how @150 people can read a post, and none answer ?

CAN YOU DRIVE IT ?, Does what we say matter anyway LOL
I know you better than that, you prob already took a spin.
To answer 1/2 your question, I've driving vehicles before with part of, some of, OR NO exhuast (not on the L)
and I guess no harm is done, other than you sometimes being
down on power because of no back pressure, once I even took
one of my former Big Block Chevelle's out with open HEADS
I might have started a Fire that day too

Best of Luck Bro, your going to Love the results,
(not that I have one, but I Love the sounds of my Bassani Bro's)
