Does anybody trailer your L to the track or elsewhere, If so what size trailer are you using?

My truck has been a trailer queen since I started testing the limits of the stock block. It is nice to keep the miles off of her also. I use a 18'x6.5' trailer. The truck is right on the edge of the trailer on both sides. I am looking into a new trailer as most(if not all) new trailers come standard in 7' width. The trailer is long enough and probably as long as I would want to go. Nice and easy to move, park and back-up. Make sure you have a tow vehicle with some power also, especially if you are going to be hitting any hills. The Lightning and a trailer are gonna be over 6,000LBs. The first time I did it, I used my father's F150 Screw with a 5.4L and the truck just lacks power. Back in January I bought an Avalanche 2500 with the 8.1L and it tows like the truck and trailer isn't there. Hope that helps you some. Best of luck. -Mat-

I trailer mine to all events.Since I do run it hard and am an aggressive driver. My mind is on how to get around that %&*** person infront of me.but back to the question 48 foot with living quarters in front. After all I have to have some style after I get black flagged! Stan

thanks, I'm going to tow with my motor home Ford E450 with v10. I fear if something breaks I wouldn't have a ride home. I think trailering eases that worry. besides closest track is an hour and 45 minutes away to build heat in the L driving to it.

over 700 miles

I pulled mine with my 90 Chevy cross country. It did great! I hear ya about being down on power though. IMO airbags are a must! I couldn't have made this pull with out them!
