Post My first track times

I wasn't incredibly happy with them, but I suppose for my first time racing they weren't horrible. Got in 3 runs at Moroso midnight madness before I had to leave. I was hoping that with my mods I would be able to break into the 12's. I'm in the left lane on every run btw

The pic is high quality, but it was shrunk down when I uploaded to the F150online galleries. If anyone has a server I could post the original image on, please let me know.

Great feeling aint it Vinnie
Nothing can replace that feel when you stomp that Bad Boy
to the Ground and off you go.........

CONGRATS on your voyage passes, and not bad ET's as you
say for the first time out.

It does seem your ET + MPH is down a little though for those Mods ? Hard to see the 60ft times, and final ET's/MPH.
Looks like 13.3's ? maybe a 13.1 in there (all at @ 99MPH)
With those Mods, you should brake 100 MPH in the 1/4,
MAYBE YOU NEED MORE TIMING

CONGRATS AGAIN BRO...........

Congrats on your first track outing. Those numbers def. seem LOW. With those mods you should be seeing well over 100MPH in the 1/4 and your ET's should be deep in the 12's. When my truck had 300 miles on it and chip and air filter I was running 13.1X's and 13.2X's and over 100MPH in almost 90* weather. Your 60' times leave a bit to be desired also though. What were the conditions when you ran>??? I am think if you ran at one of those midnight events(I have to do that before I die! ) that the weather shouldn't have been too bad. I am also gonna guess you were running on stock F1's>??? Was your truck at full weight or did you have things removed>??? Lets us know about the other factors. But all that matters is if you had a good time or not. -Mat-

Could you please type out you runs. I can see that they are 13's but not much else. I ran my stock 03 at Moroso about 3 months ago. All my truck has is an AIRAID intake and it went 13.80 @ 100 mph. But it was 3 months ago when the heat and humidity wasn't as ridiculous as it is now. Since they "updated" the track, it has become difficult to get a good launch because now they have it so that you can't go around the water. My brother's 01 went 12.80 @ 106 at Moroso on a cold night with a 1.9 60ft (on F1's) and he has the same mods as you so I think that's where you'd be with a good launch. You know how it is here man.....for the past few weeks it's been REALLY, REALLY HOT. I'd go back again when it gets a little cooler out.

Those #'s do seem low, even to a Lightning noob like myself. My first time at the track I was running 13.4's and 13.3's with a 4#, Chip, Filter, E-Fan and Waterpump, which is not great but I was trapping at 103-104mph.

1/4 mile ET is how you drive ... your trap speed is what the vehicle is capable of ...

I was out and about that night, temps were over 90 degrees and humidity was ridiculous.

Cold weather and a retuned chip for his new mods will get him where he needs to be.

Oh, BTW, my truck is still faster.

Thanks for all the replies fellas. I'll type out the runs when I get back from work. I didn't remove any weight from the truck when I ran, and the fastest time was a 13.4. It was about 90 degrees out since I made all of those runs fairly early. Not sure exactly what the humidity was, but lets just say it felt like a sauna out there. I was a bit confused with my trap speeds as well, but hopefully when I put in the new SCT chip they will improve.

Did you let the truck cool off at all?

I ran my truck hot off the highway and 1-2 tenths is easy to gain if you let it cool down.
