Why does no one like spinning rims on lightnings?

I am just wondering. Is it because it is too much chrome, or the fact that it just spins?

The local shop near me has a white lightning with the Davin wheels that have a full black backing and chrome spokes that spin so there is hardly any chrome. It actually looks really good I just don't know how well the perform on a performance truck.

For one thing they are outlawed from both NHRA and IHRA sanctioned tracks. They are not safe.

Even better

Anybody seeing the plastic bolt-on spinner hub caps in Pep Boys and Auto-zone now? Im seeing them more and more on the road. Jeez, it's one thing if you can actually afford the genuine bling bling. Hey, some love it, some hate it. But to settle for such an obviously ghettofabulous sign that absolutely screams, "I didn't have 8 grand for wheels but I figured I could pay 40 bucks for 4 spinning plastic hubcaps and it would look just as cool." What the heck's the point anyway? If you want them and can afford them, get them. If you cannot afford them, just settle for your regular factory wheels, don't try to go the spinning wheel cover route. Just looks makes you look like a pathetic wannabe.
