JLP Forced Air and Afco Heat exchanger ????

JLP Forced Air and Afco Heat exchanger ????
I replaced my CAI with the JLP forced air and I have an Afco heat exchanger. The intake scoop on the forced air will not bolt up properly. What have you guys done to make this worK???? cut the scoop?

Yep, just notched the scoop a little. Doesn't affect fit or airflow. VERY small chunk needs to be removed.
