I'd be REALLY fast until the first turn. After that I don't think I'd do so well. LOL

Good luck and Have fun though.

VINNIE

You would think with all the years I raced sprint Karts I would road race.

Maybe I'll turn the mustang into a road racer. HMMM.

Cliff.
I've been looking into heading down to VIR with you for the weekend, Marlena has even been urging me to go, but I just don't have the extra loot to spend. I figure over the weekend I would probably be out close to $600-$700, and I just can't justify spending that kind of loot right now.
Have fun though bud, and keep it between the lines!

I was SERIOUSLY considering going.

I was reading alot of the road race guys posts here.

my main concern was that I'd get out there and find out that my stock brakes aren't up to the task of road racing.

but that's all secondary at this point.

good luck. wish I could be there.

sincerely,
chris haynie

P.S. they have proposed building an all new road race course in New Kent (just outside of Richmond). I guess this would be a more central location for folks from Va beach, and northern Va areas alike. maybe next year.
