You may want to read it again, it saids the truck will be able to tow about 7500 lbs.

I tell you though, the current SRT(urd)-10 gets 9 mpg with the 6-speed and 4.10s. How bad is this one gona get with 4.56 gears and 4 spead auto.

While at least that one can tow it looks even uglier then the original (it almost looks like the Tundra quad cab) and i doubt it will still be faster then the L which was the whole reason for the SRT-10.

How many guys on here have said they wanted a lightning but needed the 2 extra seats? Well they just tapped that market.

With the change to the gear ratio, and the addition of the automatic, watch this quad cab out ET the original. Much less driver error to worry about and taller gears. Be interesting to see how the first SRT 10 buyers will like that. LOL

Hey I for one am for it. If the new L does go to two seats then I will have to look at the Dodge (it gives me the willeys just saying that), because I do need the three seats.

I like it, but they will probably want too much for it. The Harley's loaded out where 38-39K and made in pretty large volumes. I paid $33,500 for mine in 2002. These Dodge's will probably cost a lot more than that.

Hats off to Dodge though - what they H3LL does Chevy have these days? Joe Gibbs I guess at a few select dealers. blah

I always thought the motto on this forum was "If you're worried about gas mileage this isn't the truck for you".
