PSP Open House - 6-27-04
Hey guys, we are going to be having an open house on Sunday the 27th. Basically it's a chance for anyone to come down, check out our shop, see some projects, and chew the fat with me and other vehicle owners. We will put a few cars on the dyno over the course of the day. The Long Island SVTOA club will be there, and we are supposed to also get some FFR Cobra guys, Lightning owners, and cars from another NY Mustang club. So if anyone is interested, come on down. I'll open the door at 9am, and we'll hang around until everyone leaves.
Directions to the shop are as follows:
Take 95 to the George Washington Bridge. Go over the GWB and continue on 95/295 until you see signs for the Throggs Neck Bridge. Get into the right lane because 295 splits off to the Throggs Neck and you need to be in the right two lanes. Go over the Throggs Neck and at the end follow the signs for the Cross Island Parkway. It will be the right lanes at the end of the bridge. Take the Cross Island until you see signs for 495, which is the Long Island Expressway. Get off at that exit, and follow the sign for Eastern Long Island. That will put you on the LIE. Take the LIE to exit 63, which is Rte 83. Get off at the exit and make a left at the light, going over the bridge. Take Rte 83 until you come up on Rte 112. Get in the left turning lane at the light, and make a left onto Rte 112. Take 112 about 2.5 miles up. You will come to a traffic light with a Dodge dealer on the right side of the road. Make a left at that light onto Bicycle Path. Be careful turning onto the road, as the road rises up when you turn, so turn slow. Go up about a 1/4 mile. The building I am in is on the left side of the road. Look for the Port Jeff Auto Parts sign on the grass by the road. I'm in that building, the third store from the road.
Whether you are coming from north or south of Long Island, take the George Washington Bridge. Trust me, it's the best way to do it.

Ok, before this gets out of control with everyone wanting to dyno, we are not doing open dynos or tuning during the Open House. I have few vehicles that we are going to put on over the course of the day to make some pulls, just so people can see the dyno in action. If I had to dyno all day, nobody would get to talk to me
