rattle from front left wheel
rattle from front left wheel
i have this rattling noise comeing form the front left wheel when i turn right. even if i slightly turn like when changing lanes i get it. no noise at all on left turns. anybody know what this could be?
I would pull the wheel and check the brake rotor gaurd to make sure is secured.
Just look around for rub marks and somethings loose.
Are you sure it isn't the infamous clunck? Check both of the holes on your lower "A" frame.

Also check to insure that there is an “anti-rattle” clip still on the brake caliper. It may have come loose and fell out? Don’t know if they can but since you mentioned “rattle” that’s the first thing I would look for…

just before i left the office for lunch today i glanced at the brake caliper, and it looks like the rotor guard had worked itself loose. i was like WTF! the part of the guard that slides on the bottom of the caliper was sticking out about 2 inches, and it looked like it had struck the wheel. the pass. side had moved some also, but only about 3/4".

thanks for the suggestions!
