Quick question...

Hey all,

I'm about halfway through installing a new grille... Anyway, in the process of taking off the main shell with the upper grille in it, I had to take off four clips (two on each side of the truck)... They were through a rubber piece, attaching the bumper to the main shell.

They're those annoying clips that you see in the fenderwells. Dime shaped head, half an inch long...rubber? Hope someone knows what I'm talking about.

Anyway, I destroyed them in the process of taking them out. So when I put my main grille back on, the shell won't be attached to that rubber piece... Am I screwed here?

On a side note, I just about mangled my finger with my drill. It freaking hurts, so this grille better look awesome.

Thanks.

Also, with the front off like it is, looking at the truck, on the right side, there's something mounted with two rows of 'fins,' I guess. Several of the fins are bent way out of whack... What is this, and is it a huge problem? The top row, about 1/2 are bent...

Sorry for the newbie questions. I'm learning. Thanks for any help.

the one on the drivers side is a powersteering cooler and the one on the pass. side is a second tranny cooler..

it should not cause that much of a problem, a cooler at all is more than 99% of cars have anyway..
