In the 03-04 Cobra action:
"Dustoff", Jon, layed down a 10,66@135.5 today at MIR. Hermann of "Horsepower by Hermann" also layed down his usual mid 10's. The MPH of these cars are definitely 9 second machines. A little tweaking on the suspension and they'll be getting 9's...and that's at 19psi on the 2.2 KB....can hardly wait to see what the 2.4 will do!

Mostly mid to high 11 second Cobra's there today.

JJ ran a 11.11 today at only 13psi of boost! Amazing numbers for that level of boost. I can't wait to see an 18psi run.

Buford was there in 'ol reliable running some nice 11 second passes.

I didn't recognize some of the other L guys, either I'm getting old or I've been out of the Lightning scene too long.

There was a guy I met at Cecil a few weeks ago(forgive me, I forget your name already)...I guess I am getting old.... who was complaining of a weak tune and low ET's. I recommended getting a JLP tune, but he was one step ahead and already had an appointment. With the fresh tune, he got his 12 second pass with no problem.

Sounds like a great time. My hats off to everyone that attended.

The phone call I got earlier informed me of JLunds fantastic runs and JJ's 3 11.0 runs..... 11.03, 11.077 and 11.072 at low boost. I too am waiting for him to turn it up past 13lbs..

Its a shame that I couldnt attend a race in my own backyard.. damn cruises.

Later...
