I'm still a 13.8s Lightning (2000), so lots of cars out there are way faster then me, and I came across a fun one tonight.

GSP North, highly modified convertible vet. Had a roll cage installed, two pipe 3" exhaust and atleast 12" tires on the rear. Of course I was already cruising at 80...er, 65... when I came up to him.

As much as I know I lose the majority of roll-speed punches, I wanted to see if he'd take off, and he did. I'm out of gears to downshift, so of course, at that point acceleration sucks for a stock engine, but he took off like a bat out of hell. I felt as if I was driving a v6 F150. lol.

Also a time to bring up, MAN, I need to get my Pirelli's back on my truck. I'm running Toyo Proxie S/T's and the rubber is just WAAAAY to hard on these skins, I felt the truck starting to scrub hitting an inclined bend at around 115, I had to back off the throttle to my disappointment.

They may last longer, but I'll be damned if I'm not willing to spend the money to stick to the road like glue. lol.

lets see. If I tried to take a corner at 115 w/ No sway bar, FRPP drop springs, and dunlops I would be part of the railing.
