Leaky Tonneau Cover?

Hey guys,
I just bought a stock tonneau cover off of another L, and today it rained really really hard and I looked in my bed abd there was rain water in there? Is this something to be worried about? Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks,
Simon

mine leaks a little bit as well. i think it comes in from the begining of the bed, near the cab, where the cover is "locked" in place by the hinges.

Mine's been pretty dam good, even when it sits with snow on it
for weeks in a row. The only place I seem to get a little water in
(and only when it's raining a lot) is right at the tail gate end (drivers side corner), and even thats only a little.

Can you see where it's getting in ???

Yeah it looks like it is coming in from the right and left front and rear corners. I think im gonna try and tighten the allen srews down more. I might try moving the cover around a little.

They are not designed to be water tight/sealed.

Water will normally get in on both front covers as well as around the tail gate/corners. The floor of the bed is not sealed to the sides either, water can get through there on wet drives.

mine only leaked around the tailgate and you can buy a special seal for that...My truck sits out in some heavy downpours..and I drive in the rain..alot...My bedrug only get slightly wet around the tailgate..and not mucg there...
There is a slotted area on the bed in the front where the seal does not seal well..you might try adding some weather stripping in those areas...the run right behind the cab....side to side...
