Why I Like My Truck

Took a sick day (I am the boss) and worked on the house. It was so nice just to be able to run down to the lumber warehouse and throw (gently) some 2x4's and 2x10 ceder in the bed.

Man I remember the days when I would have to trade the wife vehicles and use her Expy. Those days are gone. Not only that when it's empty I get to have some fun. Right now the bed is full of some scrap wood to take down to the dumpster. Havin a pick-up is handy.

Nothing ground breaking just thought that I would mention it. Peace.

I use the truck aspect of my truck all the time. Either pulling trailors or hauling games or anything around my race shop.

I agree!!!!!! Very handy if you own own a home.

I live at the base of the Rockies and it is fun to cruise up in the mountains and know that you can hang with the sports cars and if you need to pass you don't have to worry as much about distance. Just Do It.

Best of all worlds IMHO
Peace back at Ya!

I was worried that I'd miss my Bullitt GT after getting the L but for same reasons listed above I'm thoroughly happy with my decision. These Lightning's are great versatile vehicles and we're all lucky dawgs!

Where do you work?

...I'm calling your boss and telling him you wasted a sick day!

From the first week I had it, I used it as a truck. Hauled something like 30 sheets of drywall in it, and it still didn't bottom out. Went back later to Home Depot, picked up 1 bajillion 2x4's and other odds and ends.

According to my wife, it's impractical, but I say otherwise

Ha thats a good one, however I am the boss, at least at work, and so I exploited one of the few perks of being your own boss. Otherwise working for yourself does have some drawbacks.
