Johnny,
Congratulations on that 9 second pass, that is simply amazing.
That is one time slip that needs to be framed and displayed in your shop..

Awesome run.....

i was the one in the other lane. it was 2nd round qualifying and i knew i spun outta the hole so i was only along for the ride and had the best view of JL"s 9.88. from all the smoke and seeing all the coolant on the ground let alone seeing johnny get alittle outta shape trying to slow his truck down. i figured safer than sorry. so yes i lifted, went back to the pits and got the golfcart to pull johnny back to the pits.

congratulations team JLP on a huge milestone.

Congrats on the 9 sec run that you were going for, but hearing about you gasket and seeing your MPH got me to wondering if that could have been a mid 9 sec run had the gasket not blown...

BTW I saw Johnny's latest dyno before he juiced it and he was in the 700/800 club

Yes id get it on video. Granted it doesn't follow Johnny down the track (I was following Rob) but I caught up with him when it counted (right before the smoke). We should have it online tomorrow (unless Robert stays up late again, then it will be up tonight).

Good thing John has a truck. He's getting into the horsepower range where he is gonna need to carry lots of spare transmissions, gaskets, clutches, engines. You know, racing stuff!

Oh yeah, don't forget the camera so John can show us the holes in the engine block where rods and pistons make the holes.
