SOOOOO AWESOME!!

Hurry up people we need the video

Congrats to JL, im sure thats a lot of work to get to where you are at so hats off to ya for doing that.

Just curious, if youc an answer of course, what pushed it up from the 10.15 that was first run and shaved off 3 tenths? In a stock truck thats a significant improvment overall i can't imagine what it takes in a 10 second truck, just in the launches and tune?

That's insane. I want to see the vedio if it exist. That's the best news I've heard since I bought my Lightning. Go JLP!

First the 12 second barrier dropped
then the 11 second
A few lucky people toppled the 10 second bracket.

And now Johnny Lightning is the First person in the newest bracket, the 9 second club. He is also the ONLY one in the 9 second bracket.

Congratulations on Being at the top.

I knew with that 10.01 run, it would only take the power of a fart to put you in the 9 seconds, however you didn't just squeeze into the 9's.

you simply obliterated that Barrier.

CONGRATULATIONS JLP!

BLACK IS THE FASTEST

Thumbs up nice job

John and Sue, Congrats on the 9 second run, that's a fantastic accomplishment - one that I'm sure makes all the hard work worth the effort. 8's anyone?????? Nice job, Todd

I just talked to Johnny he is all excited, even though he lifted a head getting into the 9's

He said he ran out of gear around the 1000 foot mark

Looks he will have to go for some lower gears or taller tires to keep that from happening again.

congrats JL and crew. I seen that awesome 10.01 video and it looked like your bolognies were scating on ice through the 600 ft mark. Must of been one hell of a ride on that 9 sec pass. Pete

Johnny will need a higher gear, probably back to 3.55's on 30-31" slicks. I'm not sure what he's running now.

I'm sure that's why his mph stayed the same, though he dropped a few tenths. I bet he'll see 136+ mph w/ the right gear.
