Question It's been 6 months since...

... I took my truck apart and I can't remember how two small wire brackets go on the front of the engine. One I believe is for holding the water lines for the oil cooler, but I can't remember how it mounts. The other is a half smiley face that is about 8- 9 inches long. Can someone remind me. Thats all I couldn't remember.
Thanks for your help.
Mike

If you look closely on the driver side bottom of the timing cover, I think you'll see what you are looking for.

the smiley face wire fits over two studs on the timing cover, the little loop wire fits onto the smiley and together they hold the oil cooler hoses and keep them off of the power steering pump pulley.

good luck.

later,
chris

Thanks, is what I needed. I kept thing the smiley part went under the crank pulley, but it didn't fit both studs. Now I see why.
Thanks Mike
