Meat Bag,

Go ahead and turn the rotors and your problem will be solved. Nathan had the same problem and that's how he cured it. I have had the problem twice (with two different sets of new zinced rotors) I cured it by running the J pads at weekend track events. Course I also took off over .100" of rotor material with the J pads. Todd puts .035" deep gas slots in the rotors and I can totally remove the slots in three twenty minute sessions. At least the rotors are cheap.....about $120.00 each. I will not be running the J pads any more. I'm going to try the H pads at my next track event. One thing though......running the J pads on the track during twenty munite sessions, running hard as Hell, I NEVER have any brake fade! NONE!

The Q pads don't make a sound on my truck, and NO DUST.

they make a set to fit 15 inch rims????
If you want something trick that fits under 15" rims, check these out from Mark Williams.

They're made for drag racers that don't use a transbrake. You can rev the engine real hard against the torque converter, and stall at a higher RPM before the car starts to push through the brakes. One of the best kept secrets in footbrake racing.

Uniod,

You must have never priced big brake kits. $1700.00 is not bad at all!
