Ok so long story short, I was driving down a narrow road where everyone parks there car on. Some SVU was coming at me down the middle of the road and some gardner parked his truck and trailer on my side. I always take pride in how close i can drive next to the parked cars.

Well my review hit this guys trailer. The only damage is t hat the mirror came off. Like it flew into the cab and hit me. Good thing the window was down. The hosing unit is still there with no dmg other then the mirror is off.

Anyone have any experiance putting the mirror back on and want to give me some hints? I am kinda hoping to do it right so the electric adjuster still works. Let me know what you guys think.

You know, when I working at Los Alamos I always prided myself on how close I could get to spent Uranium rods before I would be exposed to a lethal dose of radiation.

Unfortunately, I got too close and stayed too long. My associate, Dr. Needlebaum, pointed out to me that if I hadn't played "tag" with highly irradiated materials, I wouldn't be dying of cancer, as I am now. Go figure!

 

ok ok, I got the point, but you have to understand my point here that if the people on the other side didnt drive down the middle of the street or if these guys didnt park their giant trailers on the street stuff like this wouldnt happen, and hasnt happened before.

I was gonna say, sounds like its time for the street scene mirrors but oh well, you got it fixed.

 

I am not going to point out how reckless you are.

instead I will sugest using some double stick tape.

I had a vibrating mirror on another vehicle and my son worked in a body shop.
I asked him what are my options. He said thats what they used all the time. Then he wips some out of a tool box and put two strips on the back of mine (after removal and cleaning). Been on for over 5 years now.

 

You should have stopped and made them get on their side.

 

You sideswiped a trailer, the mirror came through the window and hit you, and you call us Noobs

 

I would have just duct taped it back on. Then maybe that rapper guy would come over and pimp your ride!!!
