Truck is acting funny
The truck is not wanting to run. I went to a GTG on Sun and it ran fine. Left the GTG and went from a stop sign and it bogged down when I gave it gas, turned around and parked it was idling a bit rough but it seemed to clear it self up and started idling smooth. Drove it home about an hour drive and everything seemed alright. Went out Yesterday to start her up and she wont stay running, starts fine RPM's go up to about 1700 and then come down to about 500 and then it gets rough and dies. I have read in some past post's that I searched through that a lot of people have had this and it seems to be either the fuel filter, plugs, EGR, or dirty IAC. Does one of these sound right? I am gonna change the fuel filter, clean the IAC, MAF Sensor, and check to see if I have any loose plugs. Anyone else have any recommondations. Thanks

My truck was acting very similar to yours. It was missing at idle and would bog a lot, especially going up hills. When I checked the plugs, the 3rd one back on the passenger side was burned up. The porcelain was gone (Denso IT-22) and the tip had burned off. The truck ran fine after I swapped out the plugs.
ps It would not hurt to do the fuel filter too.

99's have had an issue with their fuel pump(s) lines/clamps. A line slips off--lower fuel pressure.
First though, I would remove(very easy--2 minutes tops) the IAC, flush it with a solvent/Q-tip, and reinstall. That may be all it is although, if the IAC is too worn, then cleaning isn't the answer. Your symptoms sound like an IAC to me????
