Hankook ST RH06 Tire Qs

Ok, I am ready fro some tires. I am either going to swtich to Proxies or the Hankook STRH06 tires. I have seen a person or two say they have them. How well do they hold up? How is the traction? How are they in the rain? Would you buy them again? Ya know, all the good stuff I need to know before I drop cash on tires. Also, any tires I get will be severly abused by my heavy right foot. I figure I will be buying a set of 2 every 10k miles so I can give up some traction and not spend $200+ a tire like the F1s.

Well,

I just got the Hankooks around a month ago. Let me tell you they are about comparable to the F1's with traction (I am not modded) and they do work better in the rain. I cannot speak to the tread length of course, but my guess is they are better than the F1's there also. Hope this helps.

I was looking at some Hankook tires for my Mustang, but after reading a couple reviews about them, I think I'll stay away. The comments that a few people said was that you get what you pay for and that they seem to have weak sidewalls with a lot of flex in cornering. I think the Toyo Proxes ST are excellent tires for the money.

So they should make excellent burn out tires. they are only going on the back for now. if they work out good, i can get fronts, if not, well, they will be great for burning up. lol, either way its a cheap trial.

bought a set and got aboput two weeks on them, i would say they grip the same or better than the f1's. they have a hack of a lot beter contact patch, they are super quiet and handle good around corners, anr really good in the rain and i had bought the f1s only 6 months agao so its still pretty fresh in my head. however they are brand spanking new, well see hay they do at 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, and less treads? but i got em for 160 a pice which is a bargian, and my buddy has proxies on his lightning and we both have about the same mods only i have a built trany and a stall, and he drove it and said it hooked beter than the proxies. here are my mods.

Where did you get the Hankooks at? I can get them Local for $165 mounted and balanced plus tax. If I order them over the net it would be very close to the same price by the time I pay shipping and mounting costs.
