What stall are they setting you up with? I just sent mine back and they said they had not done any higher stalls in past two years, only lower. Apparently they offer two "standard" set-ups. My new 2800 rpm flash stall was only power braking to ~2100 rpm.

we went with a 4000 stall for use with the paxton novi 2000 supercharger. you will get a lower stall by power braking. you might be able to flash the convertor upto the stall speed but the only real way to get the correct stall out of the convertor is to use a trans brake. which might be an investment i may make here in the near future.
