Fuel Tank ?

Was thinking about something. I know some older F150's had fuel tanks that had 2 tanks to them. And you could switch between them. Was there ever a truck made with a setup like that in our body style? Basically is there one we could get the tank from and install it; and set it up to just run race gas in one tank and pump gas in the other tank?

There is only 2 issues I see with that... But Can be done

1) The extra weight

2) Fuel loses it's octane

True and true; I am trying to find out if there was such a tank made that would "bolt in" to our trucks. I know it would need another filler neck, but I could work around that.

You could probably get a switch device from an older F-150 and hook it up to a fuel cell and switch it from inside the truck.
