Houston Tx./take A Look At This Shop !!
just received my motor trend magazine for the month of july 2004, and as i was going thru it, i ran across a company called RACING SOLUTIONS in houston texas. they put a z06 crate motor in the under performing chevrolet ssr, and the 0-60 time dropped from 7.4 to 5.9. 1/4 mile dropped from 15.3 to 14.3. i guess you are wondering where i am going with this.
well i went onto their site at racingsolutionsinc.com and lo and behold, these guys work on LIGHTNINGS/HARLEYS !!!!!!!!!! their showroom and service areas are probably the best you will ever see. appeas to be state of the art.they also service prowlers, ,mustangs/cobras,viper,firebird/camaro, corvette,hummer, and prowlers.
just my .02 cents, but, ................who on this board in that area uses these guys? they also sell parts for the lightning and harley. on their tour of the area, i saw a harley truck in their service area. they also sell cars in their what they call "TOY STORE".

RSI... HALO (Houston Area Lightning Owners) know the place VERY well.
we have in the past held their dyno for 3 solid days while we had Sal in town tuning our trucks..
my .02 stay away from them... if your not a viper owner with 10k to flush, they treat you like $chitt...
They have no real world knowledge on either Lightning or the Harley..

Depends on what you want. We have a fellow club member who was service manager for Ford that does a lot of installs and other work. You can PM MyRedToy on HALO board at haloclub.com
RSI clientel are generally well monied, but they seem to have a very well run, organized shop. However, like any other, money talks. Their primary clients are Viper's and Vette's, though they have had an assortment of SS's, Supra's and the like in their shop. Their experience with L's does not run as deep. Many of us in Houston are the "do-it-yourself" or "with a little help from our friends" types due to nature and williness of our club members. So not a lot of work has been farmed out to others. Strickly Performance has done some engine work for a couple of members. MyRedToy is honest and dependable and does work from his residence.
