Huh? I thought I read somewhere that JL was running in the 9's?

I'm pulling for Sal, but it looks like it'll be Johnny. As long as one of our tuners gets there, I don't care. We all benefit.

Can you tell us what the weight of the truck was at the time? Or what it dyno'd to make that kind of run?

 

Just heard from my source (JJ) and JL backed it up with a 10.28.

Not done yet, there is still almost an hour left. I'll update again if I hear anything.

Awesome run...I'm guessing a 1000 horsepower (or very close to it) it going to be required to run 9's. Good luck hittin that mark JL

 

Thanx to all fo the kind words... Were not making excuses at all about the track. it just simply wouldn't allow me to launch hard at all. we have gotten 1.43 60 fts! many times before but tonight we couldn't think about launchin it hard at all! i didn't hit the spray till about the 60 ft. mark and then we had real bad tire spin. No doubt on a better preped track the 9's will come! we were @ 2500 ft. today with the conditions.we wanted 9's bad tonight, but it didn't happen but were still happy! the truck ran flawlessly run after run. The New combo is really comming together ...We hope to be back @ the track here shortly to try again,but for now we'll be happy we ran a 10.2 @ 134.....thanx again!......JL

 

With a 1.43 short time on that 10.23 run it would have smoked a 9 second pass! Great job Johnny. Glad to be running your stuff!
