This is kind of a stupid thread but I am just venting. Am I the only one who while driving always encounters some dumb @ss who hasn't a clue where he/she is going and decides to make last minute manuevers which places them within millimeters of my L. ?
I am the kinda person who gets pissed just by them gettin so damn close....they don't have to hit me but for God sakes all the damn road and space in the city and I am constantly getting nearly hit. I am a little paranoid I guess but I wish people would be more careful and leave more room between them and other drivers......especially me!!! But I know there will be one waiting for me tomorrow somewhere. The day they actually hit me for being stupid, I am off to jail!!

Something that may help keep people away from you're Lightning would be to put a sign on it stating something like:

“CAUTION: Hauling Anthrax”

However that may cause another problem and you could find yourself being tailed by Black SUV’S with very dark window tint…

Nonetheless they would stay away and approach you with caution…

lol that is funny that this thread came up. Because at Fun Ford Weekend. There was a fellow Lightning owner who was rear ended, by a fellow New york driver. On the back of his truck he wrote I hate N.Y drivers. Its a shame that his bummper got messed up. I thouhgt that this was that guy.

 

Feelin better now knowing they just aren't after me.

Idiots rule. Here is the result of being hit from behind on my right bumper while stopped at a stop light.

 

Rear ended while STOPPED on the highway in traffic... Yea, I KNOW about idiot drivers... and this was the SECOND time I was rear ended :-(


What the front end looked like afterwards - I was hit so hard, I hit the car in front of me, and he hit the car in front of him...



The bed hit the cab...






I hate people on the road. No offense to anyone here, but I don't trust ANYONE but myself.

 

What you really mean is that you don't trust anyone but you and me!

haha...no, that happened on the way down. I was so pi$$ed! I waited an hour and a half, the cops never showed up, and the kid that hit me doesn't have insurance!

 

Nice meeting you at FFW. I really feel for you, as I've been screwed by several uninsured drivers myself.
Hope your insurance company is better than you think and they take care of you.
