they asked if my truck was modified.

I said, "a little".

they said, "what... exhaust? a pulley?"

then they asked if it would run 12.70s.

I just smiled.

then they asked if I knew you.

I said yes.

then they asked if I could beat you. without thinking I said yeah, but then I realized that I don't even know what you are driving these days. I saw your harley at the track, but don't you have a different race only toy now?

anyway, let me know if you can get the video to work, I'd love to see it.

I tell people all the time how well you run... Hard to get a truck in the 12's! LOL... What color Z06? You know the one to stay away from..... ZZZZZ06 or something... He went a 11.0 @ 13x last time I saw it at the track...

BTW, I didnt have time to go buy a Capture card yet...

the one I saw tonight was a red one. he was cruising around in the Fan area. he had a regular old non personalized plate. not to sound ignorant, but it was an ethnic guy, tan skin dark hair, middle eastern maybe? but the passenger was a white guy, he's the one that asked if I knew you.

some of my buddies have motorcycles and they say that this guy always goes up to that place near VCU on the corner of Belvidere and Broad and challenges all the bikes to race.


I was sitting on boulevard and he passed me going down Ellwood.

I've heard that this guy is a really ****y s.o.b. so I wanted to catch him and let him read my plate...


I couldn't turn then because I was in the wrong lane, but I did a U and then waited for the light. by the time I got on the same street, he was long gone, but I figured if he was cruising, he'd come back down Cary street, so I turned left and parked on a side street facing Cary Town. sure enough, he drove right in front of me. I pulled out and followed him, we messed around a little, but you know the streets in the fan suck (small and not smooth).

they followed me back to broad and all the way back to the far west end. I talked to them a few times at the lights.

with my current program my truck doesn't downshift though, so if i'm already cruising, the truck WILL NOT downshift to first no matter what speed. it was pissing me off, because they kept doing that "jumping thing" on me, and when I mashed the gas the truck just did a boggy mediocre acceleration. very irritating. I'll have to talk to Sal about it.

anyway, sorry so long winded.

I told them to come to the track this weekend.

Thats the PALM readers... They have tons of cars. 16-17 year old kid in a Z06... Next time you see him, ask him if he got beat by a Family Nissan Altima on the street cause he did... LOL!

Is that Zo6 the one i was telling you about? I find that funny if so. I wish they raced you. The embarassment they would have to go through. The plate "ZO6 THIS" should send the message..." Your ZO6 cant hang!". oh well..go on with your slow a$$ 12.7 man...i mean 11.30. If thats the same guys who luv racing crotchrockets, come get some of my R1.....ill give that Zo6 a head start. Supercharge it or put the gas on it too....Hell...bring on the slips..Il trade that vette in and buy a L and keep the change!
