WHAT VPR :the Premier
hey guys,
I went to vmp last night and drove the (WHAT VPR) lightning for the 1st time since the project build up. I arrived at vmp @ 730 pm. the weather was overcast with t-storms looming. the temp was about 85 degrees with 100% humidity. the 1st pass was a 12.63 @111. that was with no cool down. yeah...i bet yall are like WTF? well...i didnt know what to expect either. well i kept on running one pass after another with no cool down time due to a storm coming in soon. well i made 4 more passes....a string of 12.40 passes and one 12.37 pass. Well, considering the conditions plus the full weight factor...tailgate, hitch, spare, pass seat, 2 lightning wheels plus 2 ton jack, and dont forget my cooler full of beer...lol!....thats not too bad under the conditions. I know superfords is laughing his a$$ off right now but we plan to work the kwirks out this L...for all who are laughing, laugh now cause youll cry later.

BTW: i felt sorry for that poor zo6 i raced...i couldnt even see him in the rear view mirror....thats a d@mn shame...as superfords says: ZO6 this Beeeotch!

for those who don't know, this is the "other" '03 here in my town that was supposedly going to whip my butt at the track.
the kid who blew his motor running a 6lb and no chip last winter.

in all seriousness, i'm sure they'll get the bugs worked out and the truck should run MUCH faster.
but in the mean time, i'll just sit here and smile!
