On the stock block/KB combo I was running the Pro-M 92MM.

On the built long block it is tuned with a stock 90MM right now.

My stock is pegging around 4700; yes you can tune it to work, but it is not the right way.

get the right pro-m and have jerry adjust it. MAF issues are easily resolved when done correctly. I havent seen anyone else who can fix it right.

That is probably the right one but im not 100% sure. it would be the type with the bell shape on the end and a sampling tube.

Like that thread says, it's all in the tune. I bet the 4 bank stuff can help figure out the maf problem with the permanent transfer curve being "modified". Its just changing some zero's to 1's (or vice versa) in the code.

Well; you can adjust the transfer codes, but the MAF still maxes out. The problem is when it max's out then the PCM can not make any adjustments. If you tune around it you run the risk of a lean condition when the air becomes denser. Basically 5 volts is 5 volts when using it for the A/F file. When you are tuning and not pegging the MAF you set an A/F to a MAF voltage. So, the changing air density does not play as big of problem in the tune.

I guess the question now is where is a maf that will not pegged on a high HP motor that you can tune too?
